About Olive Oaks

Nestled in a sweet bit of land just outside of Sebastopol, Olive Oaks is a 2.3 acre property with a century-old farmhouse surrounded by a lovingly cultivated garden.

Once a family farm with orchards, a dairy and even chickens, Olive Oaks features a landscape filled with  lively perennials, a vegetable garden, and abundance of lavender and lacecap hydrangeas.

The original farmhouse was built in 1897 by the Irish immigrant McChristian family and it was restored by a previous owner. Most recently landscape designer, Tod Rimrodt worked with the current owners, to extensively develop the gardens, terraced lawns and pool areas.

Olive Oaks has been carefully and tenderly cultivated to be enjoyed by all who walk thru her gates.
